I’m a husband, father, author, and autism advocate who believes our greatest purpose in life is to serve others.

I’ve been married to my wife, Michelle, for 24 years, and together we are raising our two sons, Costa “Gus” and Maximos “Max.” My experience as a father especially navigating Gus’s autism journey has profoundly shaped the man I am today and inspired my ongoing mission to support other parents, caregivers, and families facing similar challenges.

I serve on the Board of Directors for the Autism Caring Center and helped establish North Fayette P.A.L.S., an organization dedicated to supporting children with additional needs. I’m also active in my local community, committed to my Greek Orthodox faith, and involved with University of Pittsburgh athletics, where many people affectionately know me as the “Pitt Guru.”

Outside of advocacy and community work, I enjoy reading, strength training, running, and practicing martial arts. Everything I do is guided by one simple belief:

“If you are breathing air, you should be helping others.”

About The Author

I am the author of From Struggle to Strength: A Father’s Journey with Autism and the Power of Hope and Positivity, and my mission is to become a strong male voice within the autism community.

My own experience taught me how difficult it can be for fathers to accept an autism diagnosis. I now use my story to encourage dads to move past fear, stigma and resistance so they can fully support their child and stand united with their family.

My message is built around four principles: hope, positivity, grit and resilience. These values helped shape my journey and continue to guide the work I do with families navigating autism.

From Struggle to Strength is now reaching families around the world and is being translated into Spanish, Greek, German and French. Through the book, speaking and advocacy, I hope to change the conversation around autism, one father at a time.
